This volume 7 is dedicated to Sogo Ishii (1977-1984), to the singer Carmen Maki and to the series of movies “Delinquent Boss” (the one with the very tactful swastika skull as logo). Plus the usual articles and a CD (soundtrack of “Delinquent Boss” series).

Some pictures and videos (on YouTube) of the live (23N! + Kakawaka + Yousei) last Saturday at What’s Up (Uguisudani). It is pretty hard to hear the drums in the video but in the live house, the sound was far more better. This is only the last part of the live, the beginning was somehow more melodic (well, less harsh noise).
I went to SuperDeluxe tonight, I’m trying to organize an event there soon, and by chance I could see a live show of Ito Atsuhiro (Optron) with the drummer of Gauze and a guitarist. It was very heavy, noise and loud ! I hope I will see this unit again in the future.

One week without a post… I was sick all the week and while I went to see a doctor yesterday, my health was worse today than yesterday. Anyway, I hope I’ll be on my feet for a live at Akane next Tuesday. I already posted the details about this live on the 23N! website. But here is a reminder:

I’ve stopped updating fx.stilte and this site will disappear sooner or later.
Instead I’ve quickly built a website for 23N! (zeni), my pseudo for my noise music activities. It is a first version so it is not complete yet but I think it will fit better to the new direction I’ve taken than the previous site.

I almost spent the whole weekend at Earthdom, a live house in Shinogikubo. There was two events on Saturday and Sunday and both started quite early (around 4pm). For both days, the lineup was great with artists such as Astro, Hair Stylistics, Optrum, Jazzkammer, Struggle for Pride, Guilty Connector, Kelly Churko, Keiji Haino, Tatsuya Yoshida, … (sorry for the ones I forgot !).

Then I went to Ikebukuro to see a happening to the one I saw some weeks ago at Koenji. Unfortunately I couldn’t make it in time and just saw the end of the happening as well as the arrival of the police. A short video is on YouTube.

Some of you that know some Japanese could think it is a bad joke. In fact it is, but it is too the true name of a special hamburger by Wendy’s.
Anko (??) is the Japanese name for a sweet red bean paste. The kanji is pronounced an and is sometimes added to other food names when anko is contained in them (for example, anman). So you can guess that an anburger is a hamburger with anko instead of meat. And it is exactly what it is. But in addition to the anko and bread, there is cheese and margarine (a lot of it)… No need to say that it is one of the most disgusting things I’ve ever eaten, especially when it is the first thing of the day that you eat….
