Ningen Dog Disco (??????????)

Michael Jackson might be dead but there is a good reason to rejoice: from 4th (Tuesday) to 9th (Sunday) August, the Ningen Dogs Orchestra will turn disco the time of an exhibition, “Ningen Dog Disco“.
The exhibition will take place at mememachine gallery in Shibuya. In addition to the possibility to see the now famous orchestra, there will be some merchandising on sale !
You can follow the progress of this project on Flickr.
And on 9th August, a closing party will take place with a live performance of the Ningen Dogs Orchestra (conducted by 23N! and super utako). Details will be provided later.

And that’s not all ! On 1st September, the Ningen Dogs Orchestra will perform again, this time in a particularly well fitted place, Muryoku Muzenji in Koenji. The other acts and details will be announced later. Yosei (droise, No Fork Droise, Maria Hato) will join us on drums.

Ningen Dog Orchestra

The first exhibition of the “Ningen Dogs Orchestra” was held at Highti on 28 December 2008.

The Ningen Dogs are by Utako Shibatsuji and the electronics by myself.
A video of the first prototype can be seen here. Some pictures of the exhibition are here.
We are planning to build more “ningen dogs” that react to light (the light being itself controlled by sound), so more to come soon !
